How they work: All fire and gas devices we offer are tied into your security system for monitoring. When they go into alarm, you and the fire department will be notified by our monitoring station. These devices are working whether your system is armed or disarmed. Why have monitored fire and/or gas devices? If a smoke detector goes off when you\’re away, you won\’t know to call the fire department to potentially save your home and your pets or your business. If a smoke detector goes off when you\’re asleep, and you don\’t hear it, the fire department will still be called.
